The five-bedroom property at 25 Radnor Street, Indooroopilly is on a rare 1787sqm amalgamated parcel with 37 metres of direct water frontage.

Ray White Collective sales agent Christine Rudolph is marketing the property which is set for auction on 30 May at the Calile Hotel, Fortitude Valley.

Maria McGarry is selling the home on behalf of her 88-year-old aunty, Maeve Donnelly, who is now in aged care and her uncle, Peter, who passed away two years ago.

Maria said her uncle was a graphic designer and property investor with a keen eye for orientation.

“The home was specifically engineered to capture dual-reach views of the Brisbane River while ensuring absolute privacy via a restricted-access driveway and adjacent parkland reserves,” Maria said.

“The estate is distinguished by its multi-generational floor plan, comprising a substantial main residence and a fully self-contained standalone studio.

“The main home centers around a grand dining room and a Gaggenau-appointed kitchen, reflecting my aunty’s passion for large-scale entertaining.”

Beyond handcrafted European-inspired wrought iron gates, a garden path winds through manicured lawns to a striking foyer, where a Murano glass chandelier is suspended beneath a soaring 5.2-metre void.

To ensure long-term livability, the two-level floor plan includes an internal lift, providing seamless access across the home’s elevated hillside footprint, she said.

“This home was my aunt and uncle’s 'forever' property, built from the ground up after they purchased and amalgamated two original home sites to create one significant estate,” Maria said.

“Every detail, from the specific orientation for river breezes to the high-end European appliances, was chosen by Peter to ensure the home would never be built out or lose its connection to the water.

“It has been a cherished family sanctuary for over 30 years, designed to grow with a family through every stage of life.”

The property is situated 450 metres from Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and 600 metres from the train station, offering a secluded, flood-free acreage lifestyle within 8km of the Brisbane CBD.
