The expansion creates a unified sales force across the Burwood and Blackburn corridor, operating as a single entity with a combined team of more than 30 staff members.
Ray White Blackburn director Henry Lin, who has a 10-year history with the group in Melbourne, said the expansion was a “natural progression” to capture market share in a high end, niche area.
“It is a natural expansion from this corridor going into Blackburn,” Henry said.
“Our goal is about building the team and to be proud of every transaction.”
Jichen Quan, also a director at the business, said Blackburn is characterised by house proud owner-occupiers and a conservative demographic who value the preservation of local streetscapes.
“The team will utilise their multicultural backgrounds - including Chinese, Malaysian, and Korean expertise - to serve a diverse community,” Jichen said.
“Central Blackburn is a niche market.
“We understand the geography and the culture.
“Our focus is to acknowledge our future vendors and reestablish Ray White as a premium brand in this unique suburb.”
The new office will launch with about 15 staff members in Blackburn, fully integrated with the existing Burwood sales force to provide immediate market coverage.
CEO of Ray White Victoria and Tasmania Domenic Belfiore said: “Henry, Hans, Jichen, and Mingfeng have consistently demonstrated what it means to lead with a clear vision and a relentless work ethic”.
“Watching them double their footprint into Blackburn is a proud moment for the network,” Domenic said.
“By integrating their multicultural expertise and deep local knowledge, this team is perfectly positioned to elevate the Ray White brand in Blackburn.”
