North Fremantle heritage icon hits market as owners bid farewell
A rare North Fremantle landmark lovingly held by the same owners for more than 40 years is for sale.
Designed by prominent architect Norman Hitchcock in a Federation Queen Anne style, the house is a part of the North Fremantle Heritage Trail.
Ms Rule said a heritage architect designed extension was added 12 years ago.
She said many memories were created at the property including watching her three children - now aged 42, 40 and 33 grow up there.
“We have had two adult step children live with us, and 10 grandchildren who have had sleepovers and made fairyhouses too,” Ms Rule said.
“What I have loved most have been the river walks.”
Ms Rule said she hoped another family would enjoy the home just as much as they have.
