‘Eastlands’ sells for $10 Million

Central Queensland grazing property Eastlands, located near Duaringa, has sold for $10,000,000 to local buyers.

The 4,492 hectare property is held across three freehold titles and is situated approximately 40 kilometres east of Duaringa and 95 kilometres south-west of Rockhampton.

Eastlands comprises a varied mix of developed grazing country, forest country and fertile brigalow, extending from timbered hills in the north-east through to frontage along the Dawson River.

The property had been destocked for more than 18 months prior to sale, providing an established body of feed for the incoming owners together with further opportunity for future property development.

Water infrastructure includes approximately 15 dams across the holding, with the main dam connected to the homestead complex with a solar.

Ray White Rural Rockhampton principal Richard Brosnan said the property attracted interest from regional families looking for breeding country as an extension to their existing grazing operations.

“Eastlands offers a good balance of country types and grazing capacity, which appealed to a number of established producers,” Mr Brosnan said.

“The buyers are local and the property will complement their existing operation.

“We appreciate the owners trusting us to represent them through the sale process.”

Mr Brosnan said the sale reflected continued genuine interest in properties working in wirth their current grazing properties.
