The new office has opened through a merger with respected local agency Roberts Partners Real Estate and its founder, Lisa Roberts.

For Lisa Roberts, the decision to merge with Ray White marks a strategic move for her clients and a deeply personal milestone.

“My real estate career began 20 years ago with Ray White, and I have always loved the brand and everything it represents,” she said. “Their culture, professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence have stayed with me throughout my career, so returning to the Ray White family feels like the perfect next step for our clients and our team. It’s a bit of a homecoming all the way back around again.”

Ms Roberts said Ray White’s systems, processes and network were a natural fit for the business she has built from the ground up.

“I have always loved Ray White; their systems, processes and network are second to none,” she said. “Ray White’s personalised and innovative approach to property mirrors our own. With a new and unified presence, our clients’ ongoing service and experience will only be enhanced.”

James Aldinger said partnering with Lisa Roberts was central to the group’s expansion into Hastings.

“Lisa has such a phenomenal name for herself with the region, and we are so proud to join with her,” he said. “She started the business and has built an incredible reputation. Her name is really important and having her stay on is a major asset. We’re looking forward to growing the team around the brilliant Lisa, and we already have some awesome agents in the pipeline ready to join.”

The Hastings office builds on the strong foundations laid when Mr Aldinger and Mr O’Sughrue opened Ray White Chelsea four years ago. “We opened Ray White Chelsea four years ago and we are now the number one office in this area,” Mr Aldinger said. “We saw an opportunity to open Ray White into Hastings. It’s only half an hour’s drive from here, at the end of the coast, and the offices are going to complement each other.”

Situated on Western Port Bay, Hastings is increasingly attracting buyers seeking lifestyle and value. “Hastings is on the Western Port Bay; we are lucky to be on the beautiful bay,” Mr Aldinger said. “It is such a beautiful place to be. It offers resort-style living and more value for money. It’s slightly further away from Melbourne but still attracts all types of buyers; first home buyers, investors and young families.”

“With Chelsea becoming quite out of reach for some buyers, they are heading further along the coast,” he said. “We also see Hastings as a huge opportunity. There’s heaps of rezoning happening and acreage out there. There is loads of opportunity everywhere and heaps of growth potential in that area in general. Twenty years ago we saw it all happen in Chelsea; now is the time to jump on Hastings.”

Community engagement will remain at the heart of the new office’s approach, mirroring the Chelsea business’ strong local involvement.

“Community is everything to us,” Mr Aldinger said. “We are the major sponsor of every major school, sporting club and lifesaving club in our area. We are heavily involved and genuinely love being part of the community, and we will absolutely do the same in Hastings.”

CEO of Ray White Victoria, Domenic Belfiore, said the merger and expansion reflected the strength of the group’s leadership across the state.

“James, Shane and Lisa are outstanding leaders who care deeply about their communities and their clients,” Mr Belfiore said. “This expansion into Hastings is not just about growth. it’s about bringing together strong local expertise with the strength of the Ray White network, and that’s an exciting combination for the entire region.”
