Movember: Let it Grow

The group had an amazing time with members from within the group getting up in front of everyone and sharing their stories.

Movember supports Men’s Mental Health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer. The funds raised will help fuel the game-changing work in men’s mental health, innovative medical research, and groundbreaking tests and treatments for prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

“This event wasn't about raising funds, however it was great to see how many people donated to such a great organisation like Movember,” John said. “The main object of the event was to share one common theme of mateship and checking in on one another to raise awareness of men's mental health.”

Principal Haesley Cush also got into the Movember spirit, growing his own moustache to match many in the team.

“At a time when our awareness around mental health issues, whether it be from financial struggles, relationship breakdown, exposure to social media or a variety of other reasons, we felt it was important so as a group we got together to support Movember,” he said.
