More than 30 young people packed into the Subiaco based Pure Bar last week to indulge in a buffet breakfast with Loan Market Chairman, Sam White. An event hosted by YPIRE (Young Professionals in Real Estate) that is heavily supported by Ray White and Loan Market.
After a bite to eat and some of the best coffee in Perth, the guys and gals took a seat to participate in an intensive Q&A session with Sam. Questions ranged from the future of technology in Real Estate to potential disruptors in the industry.
“We will see a huge shift towards Facebook as a platform for marketing properties” Sam White explained. “The Facebook Marketplace will be launching soon which could potentially be a serious competitor for realestate.com.”
A key focus for the day was creating relationships between brokers, salespeople and property managers. This reflects one of YPIRE’s core goals of providing a fun and engaging platform for networking and relationship building.
“It is great to see so many young people up early on a Wednesday morning and showing an interest in continual learning.” YPIRE committee member, Valerie Conjamalay said. “You should keep an eye on the people in this room, they are the ones to watch as they continue to grow out in the industry.”
