Ray White Coonamble’s highest performing sales agent, Fiona Foodey, sold 60 properties last financial year, totalling more than $6.8 million in sales.

Adding to her success, Fiona received a Premier Award at the 2014 Ray White Muster - the annual award ceremony for Ray White Rural offices. The award recognises top performers in the Rural network.

“It’s a huge honour to be named a Premier member,” says Fiona.

Fiona joined Ray White Coonamble in November 2011 without any prior real estate experience.

“Real Estate was always something I wanted to do. When the opportunity came up to join Ray White, I did the numbers and realised that if I sold 20 properties per year, I would get by. To sell 60 in one year is something I never dreamed of doing when I was starting out!

“I remember my first sale was a few weeks after I started at Ray White. It felt like winning the lotto, I was so excited - not only for my own sense of achievement but for the buyer and seller too. Everyone was happy with the result and I still feel that rush after every successful sale,” Fiona explains.

Fiona says that the current property market is strong, particularly for investment opportunities.

“We’re seeing a lot of movement in the market with investors - people can buy a house for $100,000 in Coonamble and rent it out for $250 per week; there is strong rental market in the area.”

A life-long member of the Coonamble community, Fiona has earned the trust and respect of local residents.

“I’ve lived here my whole life and wouldn’t dream of moving anywhere else. We’re a tight-knit community of only around 3,000 people,” she said.

For Fiona, the future looks brighter than ever.

“I just love everything about real estate and I will continue to be the best that I possibly can be.

“Working to help people within my community to achieve their real estate goals and dreams is all I can hope to do,” Fiona concludes.
