Ray White Southern Tasmania achieved a record price with the sale of 9 Talune Street Lindisfarne for $1.45m.
Not only the biggest sale for the suburb since April 2010, it also marks the highest sale for the office since Ray White opened in 2012.
“We’re thrilled with the result, our best since opening Ray White two years ago.” Ant Manton, selling principal of Ray White Southern Tasmania said.
Sitting on over an acre of land, the property offers an absolute waterfront position.
“The buyers chose this property because the home they’re currently in is too small for their needs. They plan to live in the existing house while they build their dream home in front of it, right on the waterfront.
“The block is large and level, making it very easy to build on. Of course the buyers will have to seek council approval, but the opportunity for further development is great.
“They are actually looking at the possibility of utilising the land at the Talune street end of the property and building five or six townhouse style units in the future. One of the advantages of buying such a big block of land is that there’s enough space to create your own private home as well as build a separate development,” Ant explains.
Close to the shops of Lindisfarne Village, the location is one for lifestyle.
“There are bike and walking tracks to Geilston Bay and Natone Hill as well as the yacht club, sports grounds, bowls and tennis clubs all just around the corner. This property will create a truly great lifestyle for our buyers. We’re looking forward to seeing them create their dream home on their new block of land,” Ant said.
