RAY WHITE Runaway Bay Group principal Ali Mian (pictured above) is showing no signs of stopping after opening a fifth office in Arundel on the Northern Gold Coast and recruiting a new star to the team.

Since inception 14 years ago, Ray White Runaway Bay Group have successfully sold approximately $4 billion worth of property on the Northern Gold Coast.

Mr Mian already has Ray White Runaway Bay, Ray White Sovereign Island, Ray White Paradise Point and Ray White Pacific Pines under the Ray White Runaway Bay Group umbrella and has now added Ray White Arundel to the list.

Mr Mian described the Arundel office as the “missing link” within his offices and said he saw an opportunity to more comprehensively cover the Gold Coast region.

“It’s a niche market and my team are well suited to selling in Arundel, many already live and sell property in the area so the expansion was only natural,” Mr Mian said.

Mr Mian began his career in real estate with Ray White 19 years ago and quickly became one of the top agents in Queensland. He then bought his first business 14 years ago, gradually establishing Ray White Runaway Bay, which has been ranked in the top 10 Ray White Queensland offices almost every year since 2008.

The Ray White Runaway Bay Group principal is now focused on recruiting some new talent to his fifth office.

To further strengthen the group, Mr Mian has recruited powerhouse real estate pro David Rake (pictured above) as General Manager. He was formerly part of Ray White Queensland as a business development executive where he successfully mentored Ray White members across the state.

Mr Rake joins the Ray White Runaway Bay Group after 21 years working in real estate, bringing to the table business owner, mentoring and sales experience. Among his list of achievements was his role as sales director for Ray White Broadbeach, while he also held a senior leadership role with the Ray White Aspley Group in Brisbane. During his tenure with each business he helped bring the offices into the top 10 in Queensland for Ray White.

The new Ray White Runaway Bay Group General Manager said his sole focus in the role will be to help committed people do extraordinary things in their business.

“Ali and I have some exciting and lofty ambitions but we know that to achieve the goals we’ve set for the group this year, the key is the recognition and continual development of our people, and ensuring they have a safe, secure and fun environment to come to everyday.” Mr Rake said.

“The Gold Coast market is at an all time high and we want to continue our growth and help develop our current team so in 2021 they can take advantage of their opportunities.

“Not only this, but we want to shape a team that are the very best in their field, so we’re on the hunt for fresh talent and experienced operators that are excited to keep achieving more and are wanting to unlock their full potential.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew joined Ray White Chairman Brian White and Managing Director Dan White in congratulating both Mr Mian and Mr Rake on adding another feather to their caps.

“It is great to see innovative business leaders like Ali taking Ray White Queensland into the future with his wealth of experience and ambition,” Mr Andrew said.

“His energy is in direct alignment with many of the exciting and forward thinking leaders of our company.

“We are also thrilled to see David take this step and we look forward to supporting him and celebrating his continued success. He is one of the best in the business and I have no doubt he will help Ali and the Ray White Runaway Bay Group reach a new level of success in 2021.”
