The team at Ray White Plenty have announced they are are proud sponsors of the Pat Cronin Foundation and will be donating $100 from every commission from now until the end of 2017.
Raising money and awareness of the dangers of one-punch attacks, Director of Ray White Plenty, Narelle King said the cause was one that was very close to her heart.
“Our friend’s son was Pat’s best mate and we wanted to do something to help. Our goal is raise $10,000 by December 2017 as well as help to spread the message that Pat’s family is sending: Be wise. End the Coward Punch - Stop and think as sometimes it only takes a split second between making a good decision and a bad one,” Narelle explained.
The Ray White Plenty team and their families also took part in the ‘Walk to the Valley’ fundraising event over the weekend that raised close to $35,000 for the Foundation. Narelle said it was an honour to be involved.
“To see nearly 1,000 members of the community come together to support Pat’s foundation and his family was amazing. We were really proud to sponsor the day. Our team members and their families also participated in the walk,” she said.
As they focus on achieving their fundraising goal by the end of 2017, Narelle said the team are getting down to business.
“We’re committed to making the 100 sales it will take to raise $10,000 by Christmas next year. Our whole time is excited to be able to contribute to such an important cause and support such a wonderful family in their mission to make sure this kind of act doesn’t happen again,” Narelle said.
