The Ray White network has truly embodied the value of growth these past few months, with businesses across the network expanding and opening new premises. Regional offices are no exception with Ray White Carnarvon recently taking over a local competitor, and in doing so securing almost 100 per cent of the property management market in the Shire.
Ted Schultz, Principal of Ray White Carnarvon, has effectively doubled the office’s rent roll and refurbished the existing office adding an additional 70 sqm of space. And the growing doesn’t stop there.
“We have had to put up with working around the expansion which hasn’t been ideal, but we are on the home straight now and should have everything completed early January. The result will be a great working environment for our staff,” Ted said.
Welcoming two new staff to the team, Ray White Carnarvon have brought on board well known local agent Trish Howe as the Senior Property Manager and Sales and Rae Sanderson, Assistant Property Manager.
“Both are experienced operators and will be valuable additions to our team. There is certainly a buzz around the office with our existing staff as well as our new ones looking forward to the challenges ahead,” Ted said.
While taking over a competing office is a sure way to grow, Carnarvon have embraced community engagement as a long term strategy for continued brand awareness.
“Ray White Carnarvon has always been involved in the community through our involvement and sponsorship of a number of sporting organisations and community groups. I am a firm believer that businesses should put back into the local community.”
Ray White Carnarvon’s growth was in part inspired by the ‘Tracey Brandner Story’ in Narrogin which Ted has followed closely.
“We have one competitor remaining, an independent operator, who is fairly well entrenched in the town. They have only just started offering a property management service, so we will continue to be on top of our game. Competition is a good thing and we welcome it.”
