New real estate partnership expands

A newly formed partnership in Townsville with the merging of two big real estate businesses has expanded with the opening of Ray White West End Townsville.
Clint Wallis and Ella Reid joined their businesses in March 2014.
“It made sense to bring our businesses together. I have the sales arm established and Ella has one of the biggest property management businesses in Townsville so by coming together we can offer a premium service to the property market of Townsville,” Clint explains.
Clint and Ella’s Townsville West End office will be the biggest Ray White office in North Queensland, with 640m² of office space.
“This will be a big rental and sales office; we’ll have around 40 staff members in the West End Townsville office,” Ella said.
As the Brisbane property boom continues, Clint says it’s only a matter of time before Townsville sees a flow-on effect.
“Across the board, real estate in Townsville achieved $1 billion in sales in March so by no means is the market slowing down.
“With the transient nature of Townsville’s property market, investors have always viewed Townsville as an attractive area and as the bigger cities continue to get more expensive, more and more people are starting to see Townsville as an alternative area to buy,” Clint said.
Between Clint and Ella, they own six Ray White offices in Townsville and the surrounding areas including, Douglas, Bushland Beach, Mackay and Northern Beaches.
“As a team we’re capable of so much more, we’ve become a one-stop-shop for everyone’s real estate needs.
“Townsville has always had a strong rental market and one of my primary focusses is to really grow our property management division. In the first 14 days of joining my business with Clint’s, we signed up 29 new managements. If that’s any indication of things to come, we can expect to see a successful and growing business,” Ella said.
For the Ray White Group, the partnership represents value.
“This merger is based on recognised skill sets, which simply means that it’s hard to be good at everything, but it’s important to be great at something.
“Ella has had an extensive and successful career specialising in Property Management and Clint has achieved an impressive career in sales. The two coming together is about adding value to the community through creating a greater service for people’s real estate matters and needs,” Tony Warland, joint-CEO of Ray White Queensland said.
“Most importantly, Clint and Ella are both born and bred Townsville locals. They already have a solid relationship with the community, and at the end of the day, it’s relationships that form the basis of a successful business,” Mr Warland explains.
For Clint and Ella their career aspirations are clear: to be the best.
“Our ambition is to build a great team and be known as a company that gets it done. Although we want to continually grow as a business, it’s not about being the biggest, it’s about offering the best,’ Ella concludes.
