Ray White Oxenford principal, Greg Hynes has expanded his business and taken ownership of the nearby Helensvale office.
Mr Hynes says that the expansion to Helensvale was a natural step for the business.
“The Oxenford and Helensvale markets are very similar and geographically very close - the highway separates the two suburbs.
“As an office we do a lot of business in Helensvale so when the opportunity came up to expand to the area, it made sense to take it,” he said.
Although the offices will be two separate businesses, sales managers Paul Morris and Julian Adey - together with Greg - will run the two offices as a unit.
“The offices will be independent, however, our sales teams across both offices will work together as one big team. We’ll share knowledge and information to make sure our people are the best they can be,” Mr Hynes said.
The partnership of Hynes, Morris and Adey has 45 years of collective experience selling in the Helensvale area. Mr Hynes’ son, Clint, will also play a pivotal role in training new staff.
“We’ll be expanding our team and hiring around eight new sales people.
“Clint achieved 55 sales in the first eight months of 2014. He’ll play a big role working with and mentoring our new agents,” Mr Hynes explains.
The Ray White Group is confident that the new ownership will create new opportunity in Helensvale.
“Greg took ownership of our Oxenford office in 2006 and took it from strength to strength. I have every confidence that Greg and his team will create the same success in their new Helensvale venture,” Tony Warland, Ray White Queensland CEO said.
For Mr Hynes and his team, they have a very clear goal: to be the best.
“Our aim is to have 20 per cent market share within 12 months. Our two offices will work together to make sure we achieve that goal,” Mr Hynes concludes.
