Former principal of Ray White Redcliffe Deanna Cruickshank has just listed her beautiful golf course villa at 9 Frost St, Clontarf with Ray White Woody Point Director Damien Misso.
The family values run deep at the leading property group Ray White. The former award-winning real estate agent and owner Ms Cruickshank also happens to be Mr Misso’s second cousin.
Ray White New Farm principal and auctioneer Haesley Cush will auction the home on-site on the picture perfect eighth green at the Redcliffe Golf Club on January 21 at 6pm.
“Deanna was always my greatest supporter and I am honoured to auction her home. She was one of the greatest supporters of me when I started auctioning for Ray White corporate,” Mr Cush said.
“The great Barry Ferguson set the auction culture in Redcliffe and Dwight Ferguson (Ray White Ascot) was a huge role model for me so as a kid from Moorooka it always felt like a step up to follow in the footsteps of some great agents in Redcliffe.
“I even had a starry eyed young associate follow me around Redcliffe in 2003 who has gone on to become the CEO of Ray White Queensland, Jason Andrew. I have a huge soft spot for Redcliffe as a whole.”
Ms Cruickshank said Haesley Cush called his very first corporate auction for her. “I will never forget it too, he did a fabulous job and he’s gone on to great success. I’m so pleased he’s going to conduct my auction as I am a firm believer in auctions as the only way to sell.”
Ms Cruickshank, a keen golfer for the past 35 years, bought the house especially for its location on the course.
“I have been here for 20 years and I have been a very active and competitive player. This house is the most happiest house I have ever owned. So many wonderful birthdays, Christmases and parties have been held here. I have never had a house that I loved so much and I will probably shed a tear when I leave but it’s time,” said the 78-year-old who is moving to a resort community in Beachmere.
Mr Misso said the three bedroom home overlooking the golf course was surrounded by kangaroos, ducks and an abundance of natural wildlife. “This charming 607sqm quality home has been proudly held by the same family for more than 20 years. Few properties offer such an enchanting aspect with the convenience of being a short stroll to the beach, impressive schooling and shops,” Mr Misso said.
The house is impeccably presented with a functional layout featuring all living, dining and entertaining downstairs plus the added advantage of a well thought out built-in office.
Three bedrooms are spread across a generous floor plan, two large bedrooms on the upper level with an ensuite in the master below.
