Mr Hollonds, who lived on the upper level of Moon Cottage with Ms Corvin, said it was a shame he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the result of their hard work but family reasons had forced the sale.
“It’s been a labour of love,” he said.
“We were careful to ensure the integrity and old charm of the original house was preserved, which was hard at times as we painstakingly worked out the best materials to use. It has been very challenging but incredibly rewarding and we’re really happy with what we’ve created.”
