Economic updates

If anyone had said in April 2020 that we would sell more than $6 billion of property in November…..well no-one would have ever dreamed of such a thing let alone say it!  (After all, in April we sold $2.54 billion.)

October was unique not only for volume of sales but also the uniformity of outstanding results across each and every marketplace in Australia and New Zealand.   

A record month is usually a time for great celebration. 

In the middle of winter, at a time when many communities were still facing restrictions and many of our customers were concerned about the property market, our sales results for June make for compelling reading.

My day typically starts with an early morning run or gym session, then I head off to a cafe for breakfast and coffee where I go through emails and read the day's papers.

It’s clear with the recent social distancing rules (and even as they’ve been relaxed in some places) that agents can change and adapt at a rapid pace.

It is crazy to look back at what a usual day used to look like.

Usually we begin with a short meeting which is then followed by arrears follow up calls.

Our sales results for May brings more positive news for all Australian property owners.

APRIL 2020 will likely go down in the history books as the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

On the back of a record January and with rising median house prices, we awaited our February results with more than usual interest.

We have kicked off the new year, a new decade with a new January personal best sales record.
