With more than 30 years' experience in the real estate industry, Sophie Lyon is one of Australia's most respected property management leaders, consultants and trainers. She has built a career helping agencies improve performance, strengthen compliance, develop exceptional teams and create businesses that are both commercially successful and genuinely enjoyable places to work.

Sophie's experience spans every level of the industry—from frontline property management through to executive leadership, business consulting and strategic advisory roles. She has led large rent rolls, mentored emerging and experienced leaders, and worked alongside business owners to improve operational performance, profitability and customer experience.

As a former Director and Board Member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) for ten years, Sophie played an active role in shaping the Victorian property management industry. During her tenure she contributed to multiple reviews of the Residential Tenancies Act, participated in industry working groups including VCAT and the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA), and advocated for practical legislative outcomes that supported both consumers and the profession.

Her contribution to the industry has been recognised through the prestigious AREI designation and the inaugural REA Real Ideas Prize for Innovation, acknowledging both her leadership and commitment to improving real estate practice.
