Shane Szakacs began his real estate career in 2017 after many successful years working in manufacturing, transport and logistics in Port Kembla with MM Kembla. Wanting to follow his passion for helping people and working within the local community, Shane joined the team at Ray White and quickly built a reputation for his honest approach, strong communication skills and genuine care for his clients.

Having lived his entire life between Port Kembla and Shellharbour, Shane possesses extensive local knowledge and a deep understanding of the area and its people. Outside of real estate, Shane has a long-standing connection to the local sporting community. He was involved with the Shellharbour Stingrays and played football for the Port Kembla Blacks. He also maintains strong associations with a number of local sporting groups including Kembla Joggers, Shellharbour Surf Club, Stingrays JRLC and Jamberoo Superoos Rugby League Club.

A passionate runner, Shane is actively involved with local running groups including YLRC in Shellharbour and VRC at Calderwood.

Shane and his wife Danielle have been married for 27 years and are proud parents to two adult children. Their son Kade studied at RMIT University in Melbourne and now works as a chemist with BlueScope, while their daughter Shayla is a talented middle-distance runner currently studying Exercise Physiology at QUT in Brisbane.
