Augusta Office The first white settlers came to Augusta in 1830, making it the third oldest settlement in W.A. The townsite now comprises a tight community with a mix of new and historical residences, but also boasts significant tourism drawcards such as craft and gift shops, wineries, whale watching, dolphin tours, ferry cruises and the tallest lighthouse in WA at Cape Leeuwin.
