Phill is a Douglas-based, licensed real estate agent specialising in both commercial and residential property from bush-to-beach.

Originally Based in Brisbane and working for several years in both the Training and Hospitality Industries, Phill had often contemplated a move to the real estate Industry.

Phill’s father, long-term Douglas-based agent, Mal Charlwood, had regularly approached Phill to move to Townsville to work alongside him at Explore Property; not because it was his son, but because he knew that Phill had an unresolved ability to relate to people and was incredibly service-driven.

Born and bred in Far North Queensland, Phill decided in 2021 to move back to his childhood origins and join his father at the successful agency, Explore Property.  A property owner himself, Phill has a clear passion for property and the benefits of owning property.

Having spent some 15 years in the Hospitality Industry, Phill was able to promote himself the Operations Manager of the largest club in Queensland.  A true professional with a strong belief in outstanding customer service and a can-do attitude, whilst already realising real estate success, Phill is destined to continue this success through his unwavering desire to provide a professional service to those seeking to buy or sell property.  

Phill is a committed and loyal family-man to his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and a devoted friend to those many friends he holds close.  Not to be found only in the realms of real estate, Phill loves a cold beer, a good meal and great company…. oh, and did you know he can tap dance?
