Born in Zimbabwe, Paul completed his schooling at Falcon College before completing a Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Rhodes University in South Africa.
He commenced his career at SAPPI, one of the world’s largest pulp and paper manufacturers before joining the South African Foreign Trade Organisation (SAFTO), where his dealings with international traders and exporters kindled his interest in sales.
In 1989 he opened his own real estate office in Cape Town, which soon grew to 4 offices located in Constantia, Hout Bay, Muizenberg and Sea Point.
In 1994 Paul immigrated to Australia as Franchise Director with the Ray White Group working with many of its offices in Qld and Victoria. In 1998, he purchased Ray White Aspley and within six years, transformed this into a 6-office network ranked as one of Ray White’s top businesses in Australia. This included the launch of Ray White IMS.
In 2018 Paul stepped down as Managing Director of the network group of offices to solely focus on Ray White IMS nationally.
As a specialist property management business with offices in QLD and partner offices in NSW and VIC, Ray White IMS specialises in managing multiple properties for clients referred to them by sales channels, financial planners and mortgage brokers.

We have a long and proud history on the Northside of Brisbane spanning over 30 years and one which has grown rapidly with offices in Aspley, Warner and Springfield.
The groups Managing Director, Paul Hodkinson, saw the need to service an ever widening client base which necessitated the opening of a southside office in Loganholme in late 2014.
With a management portfolio of close to 2000 properties, a southside office helps to service those clients south of the city and through to the Gold Coast corridor.
