Ms Chan arrives from a high-profile competitor, bringing more than a decade of deep local market knowledge and a client base built entirely on the Upper North Shore, where she grew up and has worked throughout her career.
Her arrival highlights a growing pattern of established, top-tier performers deliberately choosing Ray White Upper North Shore over major industry competitors.
The results speak for themselves. Tim Fraser set a Pymble suburb record within weeks of joining, and Matt Payne has just recorded the best year of his career in the industry, exceeding $1.8 million in GCI and achieving the coveted Chairman’s Elite status, placing him in the top 1 pre cent of the Ray White network.
For Ms Chan, the move came down to culture and the calibre of the people around her.
"I have spent my career looking for this," Ms Chan said. "The culture, the people, the level everyone is operating at. I wanted to be somewhere that would make me better, and this is it."
"This isn't a brand change. It's a decision about who you want to build your career alongside, and I wanted to be around people who set the standard."
Ray White Upper North Shore director Charles Caravousanos said the pattern of experienced agents choosing to join the business reflects what the team has built deliberately over the last few years.
“The addition of Mae to our team is entirely intentional. We have built this business to be the definitive destination for agents who want to perform at the highest level,” Mr Caravousanos said.
“We have built the systems, the operational and marketing infrastructure, the NurtureCloud technology and the performance coaching to give agents here a genuine edge. The best agents in this market know what we are building. Mae's arrival is the next chapter.”
Ray White Upper North Shore principal David Walker, who works alongside all agents daily as a selling principal, said the experience agents find when they join is what sets the business apart.
"What agents discover when they join us is that the support is real, not a recruitment pitch," Mr Walker said.
"The infrastructure, the coaching, the people around you; it all exists and it all works together. Mae recognised that, and we're so delighted to have her join the team."
