Ray White Ascot principal Damon Warat is marketing the property at 37 Hawthorne Street, New Farm which is set to go under the hammer on 23 May at 9am.

Accor recently dominated the annual Skytrax World Airport Awards, with Pullman Brisbane Airport crowned the Best Airport Hotel in Australia/Pacific, its fifth win in six years.

Mr Flynn, his partner Kelly and four children have lived in the five-bedroom New Farm residence for three years, and are moving to another home in the suburb.

The sprawling Shaun Lockyer-designed masterpiece features a breathtaking 360-degree rooftop vista across New Farm, Newstead, Kangaroo Point and the CBD, and there is a glass-sided swimming pool that mirrors the glamour of a Palm Springs retreat.

“The third-storey rooftop feels like a complete escape - a place where you can look out over the city and feel entirely connected to the energy of Brisbane, yet perfectly tucked away in your own private world,” Mr Flynn said.

“Seeing the sun set behind the CBD towers while you're floating in the glass pool is a pretty surreal moment; it turns the whole house into a living gallery of the skyline.”

Inside, the home is configured with two distinct living zones - one oriented around the kids, one around entertaining - a layout Mr Flynn said has served his family “exceptionally well”.

A large deck overlooks the rear garden and glass-sided swimming pool, which Mr Flynn has landscaped in the Palm Springs style: rock gardens, low-maintenance planting, and a resort feel that is unusual for inner Brisbane.

“It's an awesome home for entertaining,” he said.

“There's ample room for everyone.”

The property is a five-minute walk to Merthyr Village and close to New Farm Park, the riverwalk and the CityCat ferry.

Mr Flynn described the street as family-oriented.

“It’s quiet, with kids playing outside - in a suburb where most daily needs are reachable on foot.”
