When Ray White Wilston’s Alistair Macmillan set out to build his family's forever home, he did what any agent with 25 years of hard-won knowledge would do: he went all in.

"The build was finished over a year ago. It's a dream home but we have a new opportunity we would like to explore," Alistair said.
For a man who has facilitated over 800 sales and more than $950 million in volume over a career that has placed him consistently in the top 10 agents within Ray White and the top one per cent nationally, handing over the reins on his own home is no small thing.
"There's no one better placed to sell this home than Matt," he said.
"No-one knows luxury better than Matt. He’s also living through his own prestige SLa build in New Farm so he knows exactly the level of detail that has gone into our home. It's the next level of design."
The Macmillans and their three daughters have filled the home with exactly the kind of life it was designed for. With a Championship sized tennis court on site, Alistair threw himself into the game with characteristic commitment, perhaps a little too much commitment.
"I bought a ball machine, and I have played so much tennis that I gave myself tennis elbow and bursitis," he laughed.

Shaun Lockyer Architects, one of Queensland's most celebrated residential practices, delivered a contemporary masterpiece anchored in a robust natural material palette: board-form and off-form concrete, natural stone, American oak and precision black metalwork.
