Rita began her career at Ray White Maroochydore as part of one of the office's top-performing teams, balancing the demands of the industry with three young children at home.
An opportunity took her away from the business, but with her children older and her family now living and working in the same market she sells in, she has returned in a full-time capacity.
Ray White Maroochydore and Buderim director and auctioneer Dan Sowden said Rita's return was a genuine highlight for the office.
“Rita is firstly an exceptional person. She brings a sense of calmness and experience to the buying and selling journey, and with that experience I'm confident she can guide her clients towards the most successful outcome while eliminating risks along the way,” Mr Sowden said.
“She earned her stripes here, and she did it while raising three young children. Agents who choose to come back are the strongest endorsement a business can get; Rita knows this market, she knows what we stand for, and our clients are the ones who benefit.”
Rita said returning to Ray White was a natural decision once she committed to making Maroochydore her long-term focus.
“Ray White gives me the strength of a recognised brand and an incredibly strong local market presence, while still allowing me to build my own business and strengthen the relationships I already have within the community,” Rita said.
“The backing of the business, combined with its technology, systems and wider network, provides an incredible platform to deliver an even stronger service to my clients. Ray White's market share in Maroochydore, together with the reach of the broader Coastal Living Network, means I can connect my sellers and buyers with a much wider network and greater market insights.”
As a mother who entered real estate after having children, Rita is also passionate about encouraging more women to consider a career in the industry.
“Real estate can be demanding, but it also offers flexibility and autonomy that can be incredibly valuable for mothers,” she said.
“I've learned that success isn't about being available 24 hours a day. It's about being organised, communicating well and following through for your clients."
Rita said she returns with greater experience and perspective, and a strong desire to build a business with longevity.
“For me, success is about continuing to strengthen my place within the community, building genuine long-term relationships and creating a business that people feel confident coming back to.”
Ray White Maroochydore & Buderim is part of the Ray White Coastal Living Network, spanning five offices across the Sunshine Coast including Mooloolaba, Kawana Waters and Nambour.
