“I’m back!” said the unstoppable Sherrie Storor who has joined Ray White, launching Ray White Icon, with offices in Bridgeman Downs and Chermside.

The move marks Sherrie's return to Brisbane after time on the Gold Coast, and a homecoming to the industry she has spent nearly two decades shaping, first as a high-volume selling principal, then as one of Australia's most sought-after real estate business coaches.

Sherrie built and sold her own agency, Address Estate Agents, growing it to 45 agents across an executive leadership team of five before moving into leadership roles, including Director of Residential at Colliers.

In 2008 she pivoted into business coaching, going on to run events, doing podcasts, one-on-one coaching, online courses and digital toolkits for high-performing principals and teams across Australasia, including growing the business of one client from $3 million to $18 million in GCI.

Now, Sherrie is putting that experience into practice with her own residential agency under the Ray White brand.

"I've spent the last eight years helping agents and agency owners build better businesses — better systems, better teams, better lives. Ray White gives me the platform, the technology and the network to do that at scale, and to build it myself again. I couldn't be more excited to be back in Brisbane and back in agency ownership," Sherrie said.

“I chose Ray White because of the technology, the scale, and the referral network, the things that, frankly, no other group in this country is investing in at the same level.

“I've watched agents leave other networks and try to build that infrastructure themselves, and I've watched them come back. I don't want to spend the next chapter of my career reinventing what's already been built better than I could build it alone.

“But it's also personal. I know this business. I know the people. And I know what it feels like to work with, and for, people who genuinely want you to succeed.”

Ray White Icon will operate from two Brisbane offices, a 50sqm site in Bridgeman Downs and a 250sqm site in Chermside, with a strong early focus on recruiting high-performing agents who share Sherrie’s emphasis on systemisation, integrity and building sustainable, joyful careers in real estate.

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said Sherrie was one of the sharpest minds in this industry when it came to building high-performing teams and systemised businesses.

“She's coached some of our best people to get better, now she gets to do it under her own banner, and with the full weight of the Ray White network behind her. We're thrilled to have her back in agency ownership, and back with us."

“Sherrie has spent years in the room with some of the best operators in the country, working out what separates a good agency from a great one. Very few people come into ownership with that kind of insight, and even fewer have already done it successfully themselves.”

“Talented agents want to work for people who will genuinely make them better. Sherrie has made a career of doing exactly that, so I expect Icon Group will become a destination for ambitious agents across Brisbane very quickly.”

Thomas McGlynn, Ray White CEO of Performance and Value, said he’d known Sherrie for a long time.

“Sherrie and I go a long way back. She's been a trusted friend and sounding board ever since. Nobody understands what it takes to build a genuinely high-performing, well-run agency better than she does. Brisbane is about to see what happens when that knowledge gets put back into practice."

Sherrie's business will build on the operation built by Wayne and Sonya Treloar, with the pair excited to support the transition and continue growing her personal sales business.
