Family secures forever home site in Clearview auction

The three-bedroom, one-bathroom solid brick home at 10 Turner Avenue, Clearview, sits on a sweeping 808sqm allotment directly opposite the popular St Albans Reserve, had been held by the same family since it was built.

The property was marketed by Ray White Grange sales agent Phil Tropeano and sold under the hammer for $973,000.

Mr Tropeano said the property’s unique positioning and long-term potential were the major selling points throughout the campaign, which attracted seven registered bidders, five of whom were active throughout the bidding war.

“Properties with this size land, sitting right across from a beautiful park like St Albans Reserve, are incredibly rare in this market,” Mr Tropeano said.

“It was an emotional night for the sellers, with the original owner recently transitioning into a nursing home.

“Her daughter and grandson were both in attendance to watch the next chapter of the home unfold.”
