PERTH
“On a gorgeous sunny day in Perth, crowds were big in WA today signalling confidence from buyers that there are some great buys to be had,” Ray White Western Australia CEO and auctioneer Mark Whiteman said.
“Sale of the day came early with a 9am auction at 37 Browne St Dalkeith exceeding expectations and selling for $6,315,000 in front of a capacity crowd.
“The overwhelming message from today's auctions in the west is that buyers remain active but discerning on how high they will go.”
Sold under the hammer for $6.315 million
Three registered bidders, two active
Lead agent: Vivien Yap - 0433 258 818
Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont
Auctioneer: Mark Whiteman, Ray White
“It was an exciting auction with 30 bids,” Ms Yap said.
“We had three registered bidders with strong interest from buyers, highlighting the continued demand in the local market.
“This was the seller’s family home but they bought another home on the water so they decided to sell.
“The buyers were a beautiful family who are moving from East Fremantle. They loved the granny flat so they could have their parents come and stay with them.”
The sellers said they were really happy with the result.
“We lived here for about four years. We loved the single-storey living and the big back yard for the kids,” the seller said.
“We had no previous experience with auctions, we just watched it all unfold today and we’re really happy with the outcome.”
