Young gun expands in Glass House Mountains

Alex Garden is a man on a mission.

Six months after buying his first real estate business on the eve of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr Garden of Ray White Beerwah has opened his second business in the nearby Mooloolah Valley.

Mooloolah Valley in the Sunshine Coast hinterland is a rural locale famous for its lifestyle location not far from the beach and Brisbane. The area is popular with families, first home buyers and downsizers looking for a treechange with the best of both worlds.

“I have been keen to put my stamp on the town for years and then there was an opportunity so I grabbed it with two hands and didn’t think twice,” Mr Garden said.

“Since taking over Beerwah we have gone from strength to strength. The hinterland is the place where people want to be, to live and raise their families. The hinterland not only has the famous Glass House Mountains but is only a short drive to the gorgeous Sunshine Coast beaches.”

In the last few months Mr Garden has recruited two new sales associates and a sales agent which has made him “busier than ever, which is a good thing”.

The 26 year old father of two sons and his partner Hailey have big plans for their second office.

"Just like the White family, we are a family owned business too. I am from Toowoomba, not from the big city and around here, old school manners matter. My team and I have a lot of local knowledge and we are very familiar faces and we treat our clients like family.”

Mr Garden is supported at Ray White Beerwah by Tracy Garden who is the Director of Property Management and part owner of the new franchise too.

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said he was thrilled to see Alex Garden expand his business so quickly.
