When was the last time you considered this about your property management business? What score would you give your business out of 10 for property management? A clear measurement for this can be found when you look at the number of properties sold from the rent roll in 2012 and what percentage your agency were called into. Would you be happy with anything less than 95% of your own database?
Business practices that are measured can be changed. Ray White Bateau Bay undertook the Iceberg Test series for a second time at the beginning of 2012. Although the results were good, it showed they had slipped in a few areas since the last time they had thoroughly measured their business.
Investor Relations is one of the tests in the series, available to all businesses in our group, which they have always been strong in. Jonathan McCaig, a ten year employee with the company, currently heads up growth for the business and received the below testimonial this week from a delighted new client. It’s interesting to read that the client acknowledges that Jonathan won’t be their property manager going forward and they are still happy. This is a credit to Jonathan and his client management skills but the added bonus is the reputation the business earns.
