THE RAY WHITE group has 274 auctions scheduled across the country this weekend, with many investors looking to tidy up their portfolios before the end of the financial year.

This prime apartment at 8/12-16 Billiyard Avenue (pictured above) is officially amazing, according to Ray White Elizabeth Bay agent Renee Cross who has been fielding offers from far and wide. And when we say far and wide we mean from Switzerland to California.

What’s catching attention is the extraordinary waterfront location that offers so much more than a view; factor in a netted harbour pool and jetty, lush and manicured gardens, and the top position in a very prestigious building and you get the picture.

Split level design,, three bedrooms and 231sqm of aspirational harbourside living space – and yes, prized parking for two cars.

More than 70 groups have been through, with several going over the contracts with a fine-toothed comb.

You’d never need to pay for another holiday – when you factor that in, the guide of $3.7m seems even better. The auction kicks off on-site at 11am.

Still in Sydney, and be prepared to swoon. An architect owns this one – can’t you tell?

The auction of the ever so monochromatic and marvelous 87 Baronia Street Redfern (pictured above) is set for 11.30am and no doubt it will see a very up-market group vying for this designer space.

Attention to the finest detail is ever present here as evidenced by the outdoor kitchen area; fully tiled with an electric shutter that glides down to protect the accoutrement.

Director Charles Touma of Ray White Touma Group believes that even though there are many great properties in urban chic Redfern this one, courtesy of the in-demand owner from RKO Architecture, is a standout.

Besides the design, the two bedroom property’s location is a winner offering direct gated access to a reserve and playground to the rear. The guide is $1.2 to $1.3 million.

An early start in Epping is what’s needed to catch this fully renovated four bedroom, one bathroom house.2 Leicester Street (pictured above), with Ray White Epping agent James Kwon already issuing 40 contracts.

The attraction here is a well designed, freshly renovated family home with big grounds and an elegant, fully under cover rear terrace that will suit extended family gatherings.

Mr Kwon is expecting 10 bidders to be on site for the 10am start.

Heading south of the border and the last sale in College Way, Burwood in Victoria was back in 2015, and according to Ray White Burwood agent Kenneth Kong that is perhaps the reason that he has had 137 parties through this three bedroom home at 10 College Way (pictured above).

Mr Kong reports that the majority of inspectors have been young families, perhaps due the property’s position in the popular Mount Waverly School Catchment zone, plus it is opposite a lovely park. The warm and sunny home will be the site for the 2.00pm auction, with Kenneth expecting at least five committed bidders.

Sales agent and auctioneer Tom Grieve of Ray White Carnegie has a pretty full card this weekend.

One of which is a precisely renovated one bedroom villa in Sydney Street, Murrembeena.

Besides not needing a cent to be spent, the home has a two-sided outside area, including a good sized deck off the lounge.

It gives the illusion of a lot of space but is not asking a big space price with a guide of between $340,000 to $370,000.

Mr Grieve says it’s like a homing beacon to first home buyers, who can grab the train just 300 metres down the road, plus have room for a pet.

This auction is slated for an 11am kick off.

Also on Ray White Carnegie's to-do list is the auction of this absolute little charmer – an old lady in a very fine street (pictured above).

Holywood Grove, Carnegie has a character overlay - the whole street is much admired by those escaping the high prices of nearby Caulfield. Beautiful little bull nose verandas and pretty fret work, it’s a lovely street.

Mr Grieve says that although the overlay exists, a purchaser could rebuild as long as it is in the same style or indeed renovate that which is already in place. Though perhaps you could move the outside laundry inside!

It’s not one for the feint hearted, and it goes under the hammer at 12.30 with a guide price of $890 - $950,000.

In a family friendly cul-de-sac location this 543sqm block offers low maintenance living in a well-kept, three bedroom home at 12 Abelia Court, Bundoora (pictured above).

It’s such a good spot this is the first time that the house has come on the market since its 1970s construction. Just 2kms from La Trobe University and nearby to primary schools and shops, it is also very near to the Gresswell Forest Nature Reserve.

First home buyers and tradies have been filing through the opens.

Ray White Bundoora sales manager and auctioneer Andrew Mizzi says of the 49 groups through, several have come back for second and third inspections.

The hammer is being raised on-site at 11am.

Queensland school holidays are here and agent Steven Tozer of Ray White Toowong said he's had so much interest from families with children attending opens at 171 Simpsons Rd, Bardon that he felt like he was running a creche.

There are in fact 10 schools within a 2.5kms radius of the house, so that makes sense. Plus the block is very large, there's a large deck and the property backs onto a reserve. That's a lot of ticked boxes for families.

The lovely house is just under a century old but is in fabulous condition, with gorgeous gleaming timber floors.

With 90 groups through and three offers already put on the table, Mr Tozer believes there could be seven bidders looking for babysitters this Saturday afternoon as the bidding is set to start after lunch at a very civilised 2pm.

Ray White Logan City agent Chris Liu is telling inspectors of 34 Antares Avenue, Kingston (pictured above) that this one has to sell, which has brought in bidder interest.

The property has a very green aspect, and comes in at 734sqm. The three bedroom house is ready for a serious makeover and is attracting those with imagination.

The auction is set for 2pm, with three bidders expected to attend.
