RAY WHITE auctioneers will be all rugged up this weekend with 245 winter auctions scheduled across Australasia for the leading group.

Winter may be upon us, but the beach is on Bondi buyers' minds, at 315/10 Jaques Avenue in Bondi Beach (pictured above).

Ray White agent Sebastian Maxwell is expecting a good roll up to the midday auction, with five contracts already issued on the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, with the contemporary style of architecture a drawcard to Eastern suburbs buyers.

“The apartments were built in 2004,” said Mr Maxwell. “It's a well-regarded building, plus it's just 50 metres to the beach.”

Despite the high interest in the apartment, the owners have refused pre-auction offers, so Mr Maxwell is expecting active bidding.

The beach theme is carried into the design of the over-sized apartment which has a walk-in robe to the master bedroom and a super-sized, approximately 15 sq m terrace, complete with Hampton style shutters.

The auction is scheduled to commence on site at midday, with the guide on this beachside beauty at $2,000,000.

Still in NSW, and you may not have heard of the suburb of Kentlyn, but you won’t forget the property under the hammer this Saturday.

A true lifestyle home set on approximately 2.4ha of level, private luxury is found at 162 Georges River Road (pictured above), which despite it's size and seclusion is just five minutes from the centre of Campbelltown.

The interest in the estate has been remarkable with 79 groups through the open homes, and 13 contracts already issued.

Agent Brendan Lappan of the Ray White Macarthur Group says it goes under the hammer at 11am on site, with high hopes of breaking the suburb record.

The seven-bedroom, four-bathroom home has oodles of space, in fact the central living area hub is approximately 80sq m - all of which has panoramic views of the garden, terraces and large pool.

The owner has conducted extensive renovations and the house is presented in a flawless state.

To Queensland now and for those that love a water view, but not the fast tempo of beachside living, Mitch Rowe at Ray White Buderim has a little something up his sleeve.

This 28 Lakeshore Avenue property (pictured above) is directly across a quiet street from a lovely man-made lake that offers tranquility, a nice morning walk and a touch of serenity.

The property has only had one owner, who has been meticulous in his upkeep of the three-bedroom, two-bathroom, single-level home.

“We’ve had 35 inspections during the past three weeks, which is good interest, and a few offers have already come in,” said Mr Rowe.

He’s expecting a good turn out for the 11am auction that is being held onsite.

Victoria has this semi-rural escape under the hammer this weekend and it is all in the family at 135 Norbury Road, Beaconsfield Upper (pictured above).

The picturesque rural property measures approximately 8ha and people coming by for an inspection have been treated to the owners' 17-year-old old son taking them on a guided tour on the back of his quad bike.

“Besides being a very useful way to get around the big property, it’s also helped people become connected with the home on a more personal level,” says Ray White Pakenham agent Gavin Staindl.

And there is a lot to connect with. The homestead itself is just 14-years-old, and was built by the current owners who lived in the nearby shed during construction.

“But it’s a massive shed,” says Mr Staidl, which is a further feature of the acreage.

Construction materials were chosen carefully, to be in-keeping with the rural feel, and they also recycled where possible.

Indeed, the old primary school floorboards have been used here as a rustic, ceiling lining.

Far from being a remote location, the area has increased in density.

“Five kilometres down the road are residential properties,” said Mr Staindl, “but here you have a semi-urban locality surrounded by green pastures.”

Interest has come from both city dwellers, and those keen to maintain their country roots, purchasing a property with room to move - even if it is by quad bike.

The auction is on site, with the first bid expected at midday.

Over to South Australia and in a street full of good-looking houses, one is a standout.

“All of the neighbors are good looking,” says agent Stefan Siciliano of the six homes that line Nyroca Crescent.

While those neighbours are mostly new builds, number four (pictured above) is a home that was built by the current owners in 2005.

The full block size, at approximately 740sq m, is expected to attract bidders drawn from the 70 groups that have already been through the home during the active campaign.

Visitors have also commented on the elegant, mature street side landscaping which sets off the well set back, equally elegant, four-bedroom home.

The large, light-filled living spaces inside (interior floor space is approximately 250sq m,) are matched by the various family-friendly outside areas - including the must-have for pampered pooches, a fenced off, gated, pet's yard.

Although cunning lap dogs may find their way into the full-sized cinema when winter whips up a storm.

The on site auction is set for a 2pm kick off.
