SELLERS are still keen to offload property before Christmas, according to Ray White Group auction data which shows more than 400 auctions scheduled for this Saturday across the country.

Victoria is hosting the largest number of auctions (175), followed by New South Wales (109) and Queensland (90) on a day.

The group’s total auction number of 406 on December 15 is its highest Saturday volume this financial year.

Sydney’s ultimate south coast beachfront property (above) at Lot 165 Burleigh Way, Mollymook is going under the hammer at midday.

The 7673sq m Collers Beach property features a modernist home designed by Allen Jack+Cottier which has 180 degree views over the ocean, and opens to rolling lawn down to white sand.

“It’s certainly unique, which is a term used all too often but it’s a unique opportunity and there’s not many like this around anymore,” Ray White Surfside Properties’ Darryl Leslight said.

The price guide is $4 million-plus.

A deceased estate at Newport, on Sydney’s northern beaches, is to go to auction at 10am through Ray White Warriewood’s Fiona Dwyer.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home (above) on a 671sq m block has been held by the same family for more than three decades.

“It’s just the most amazing location and there are only two properties on the street,” Ms Dwyer said.

“It’s a two minute level walk to the beach and village, and an almost level block which is gold in Newport. Whoever gets hold of it is very lucky.”

Ms Dwyer has attached a price guide to 1 Burke St, Newport of $1.75 million.

Still in Sydney, at Frenchs Forest, is an enormous 917sq m family property which is on the market for the first time in 29 years and going to auction at 3pm.

The three-bedroom home (above) at 13 Jarrah Place has a price guide of $1.1 million to $1.2 million.

“The vendors are elderly and moving to more suitable accomodation so they really need to get it sold,” Ray White Narrabeen/Narraweena’s Brian Fairweather said.

“It’s a short walk to the new Glenrose Village shops, Glen Street Theatre and Library. It’s in the middle of a really popular neighbourhood but on a quiet cul-de-sac.”

With a price guide of $1.1 million, a house in Cabramatta (above) has had around 55 groups through during inspections before its 1.30pm auction.

The five-bedroom house at 3 Ryan Ave comes with a new granny flat on its 875sq m block.

“Everyone is falling in love with the property,” Ray White Cabramatta’s Steven Milovanovic said.

“In Cabramatta, houses like this just don’t come on the market. They don’t come up for sale because they stay in the family.”

To Brisbane where Ray White Ascot is preparing for its Summer Super Saturday event which will see 16 properties going under the hammer including the midday auction of 31 Lukin St, Clayfield.

Ray White Ascot principal Dwight Ferguson is marketing the new four-bedroom, four-bathroom Hamptons-style home (above) which is close to St Rita's College, St Agatha's Primary School and Eagle Junction State School.

Meantime, Ray White Stones Corner’s Ben Cannon is expecting the 9am auction of 24 Mirang St, Mansfield (above) to be a winning one.

"Mansfield is a hot property market today and this property has raised the temperature to boiling point,” Mr Cannon said.

“Inside the coveted Mansfield State High School catchment and tastefully styled and renovated, this home is the ultimate family home package. The vendors have created a stylish haven for family living. They've taken what was a basic '70s brick home and turned it into a trendy on point entertainer’s delight."

In Melbourne, at 11am, Ray White Cheltenham’s Angela Limanis is taking a three-level architect-designed home to auction with a price guide of $1.3 million to $1.4 million.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom property (above) at 1/47 The Corso, Parkdale is built on a grand scale to capture bay views.

“It’s an amazing property in a prime location on a premier street in Parkdale,” Ms Limanis said.

“The block is significantly elevated from the first floor, towering above the rest of the homes on the street with beautiful water views in the distance.”

At midday, a huge four-bedroom home with swimming pool at 4 Scott Court, Patterson Lakes (above) is going to auction through Ray White Patterson Lakes’ Genevieve Hill.

The 675sq m block also includes an enormous drive-through garage, undercover entertaining area and enough lawn for kids to play on.

“What’s attracting buyers is probably the size of the property and the lifestyle on offer,” Ms Hill said.

“It’s well-priced for the area for a home of its size.”

Ms Hill has attached a price guide of $940,000 to $1.03 million.

Still in Melbourne, where $480,000 to $525,000 will probably secure you this three-bedroom brick home (above) at 18 Sunridge Drive, Mernda.

Going to auction at 1pm through Ray White South Morang’s Nick Petrovski, the immaculate family home is attracting first home buyers, downsizers and investors.

Finally to Perth, where Ray White Uxcel’s Jason Eldridge is taking a large 784sq m property at 7 Wanndina Ave, Dianella (above) to auction at 11am.

“It requires demolition but it’s a beautiful block in a sought after location close to shops, schools and reserves,” Mr Eldridge said.

“We’ve had considerable interest from both young families looking for space for the kids, as well as builders wanting to construct new residences.”
