Everyone loves an auction. There’s the excitement of possibilities, the hope of snapping up your dream home, the thrill of competition and the voyeuristic delight in viewing a property. Rather than huddling on a crowded street corner, you can now enjoy the emotion that comes with a good auction, in style.

In November, a very special night will be held exclusively for Ray White clients. Whether you’re an investor or an owner occupier, we invite you to view Sydney’s best properties on the market at Ray White’s Black Tie Auctions.

Held on the evening of Wednesday 15 November, the auction will showcase unique and premium properties from the Sydney area. Jason Andrew, CEO of Ray White Sydney, says the timing of the event is to coincide with the peak selling season. “November is our busiest month of the year,” says Jason. “It’s the culmination of Spring and buyers wanting to engage well through November, wanting to buy before the end of the year.”

Jason shares, on the night guests can expect to be wowed by a range of properties in all shapes and sizes. “We’re focusing on properties which are special, properties which are idiosyncratic,” he says. “A two-acre home in Wahroonga fits the bill, and so does a one bedroom penthouse in Bondi.

Many of the properties will come from the Ray White Group’s two largest offices, Double Bay and Lower North Shore. Other branches around Sydney will be involved as well. “As a group, we’re demonstrating our collective strength at the top end of the property market,” says Jason. “Ray White sells more $2 million plus pieces of real estate than any other brand. We are here to play within the central Sydney market—we’re the leader.”

And you’ll do so in comfort, with the event held in a stunning venue specifically chosen to compliment the spring selling season and the quality of the stock being auctioned on the night. The Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens are a wonderful place to explore at any time of the year, but undoubtedly are at their best come spring time. That’s why the garden’s new venue The Calyx has been selected as the location for the evening, a perfect fit with its beautiful architecture and modern design.

As well as viewing these unique properties, the night provides guests with the opportunity to socialise and mingle with other top-end buyers. And while the dress code is black tie, it’s notstrictly so, says Jason. “Staff will be in black tie, but the guest certainly doesn’t need to be,” he says.

The night could end with you being the new owner of your dream property. Ultimately it will be a fun social occasion and the chance to celebrate this time of year. “Come along and enjoy the evening,” recommends Jason. “Participate and become the proud new owner of some of Sydney’s finest real estate!”
