Springfield Charity Golf Day

A Charity golf day to raise funds for Westside Community Care and the Camira C&K Kindergarten is on again for the fourth consecutive year.

Held at the spectacular Greg Norman designed golf course, Brookwater Golf and Country Club, the Ray White and Loan Market Golf Day aims to raise awareness and funds for the local community.

Ray White Springfield's Steve Hodgson said the event allows the two businesses the opportunity to give back to the community they live and work in.

"A lot of our business comes from the local community, and this is our way of giving back," he said.

“We initially ran two separate golf days to raise money for our respective charities and last year decided to join forces and make it even bigger.”

Loan Market Springfield owner Mark Winter said the event would be held at Brookwater, with an 8am tee off.

“Last year we had 21 teams register and this year we have 29 teams with a target to raise $10,000.” he said.

The main feature of the event is 18 holes of golf and an opportunity to network with clients, colleagues and friends.

7.45am - Golf briefing
8.00am - Shotgun start
1.00pm - Lunch and presentations
