Sophie’s our Pinefest Ambassador Entrant

Today’s cause comes all the way from sunny Yeppoon where salesperson Sophie Archibald is running loads of campaigns to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

We found out about it when a little birdie dropped a copy of this newspaper on our desks in Sydney.

As part of the region’s famous celebration of the pineapple - the Yeppoon Lions Club Tropical Pinefest - the community seeks an ambassador. This ambassador must choose a cause and go wild raising funds for it. She’s only new to the region, so let’s support our Sophie!

“I also recently had a guess the number game at the front of work where there were 100 numbers, $2 to enter to pick a number and at the end a number was drawn and whoevers number that was won $100, the person that won was generous enough to donate the $100 back to the cause.”
