EXPERIENCED livestock producers and traders Craig and Fiona Davison are expanding their sales operation with the opening of Ray White Rural Tara.

The husband and wife team began in the industry by breeding cattle and then moved into trading, saying opening a real estate office was a natural progression.

“We are producers ourselves and converted from breeding cattle to trading around nine years ago. While finding our feet we found there was a lack of hands-on experience and knowledge in this field and realised that there was a market for a livestock agent that specialises in trading,” Mr Davison said.

“Additionally, since relocating to the Tara area, we noticed that there was a lack of businesses that specialise in property management and we wanted to provide that service locally to help our community.”

The couple pride themselves on their honesty and integrity and said that’s what every one of their clients can continue to expect from them through their new business.

“Craig has a massive network from being in the industry for a long time, and has real life experience with trading and can tell you through his own personal experience what does not work and what can work,” Ms Davison said.

“We will bring our personal experiences to this because we have lived and breathed livestock and real estate ourselves and we are here to stay. We are locals and part of the community. It’s a great community, we love it here.”

“The reason I do what I do is to help people and it gives me great satisfaction to know I have been able to help someone in their property journey or to take their livestock operation to the next level,” Mr Davison added.

The Davisons said a big drawcard for joining Ray White was the exceptional way they supported their offices with resources and technology which in turn better helped clients.

“We feel like Ray White is exceptional in the real estate industry in the way they market and assist clients. That was a big drawcard for us,” Ms Davison said.

“And another reason is because it’s owned by the people on the ground and that local knowledge gets passed on to clients while there is also a huge amount of support available from the Ray White network.

“We now have the ability to tailor our services to local needs, whatever that may be.”

Ray White Rural and Livestock managing director Stephen Nell congratulated the Davisons on opening their Tara business.

“We are delighted that Craig and Fiona have joined us and opened in their hometown of Tara,” he said.

“With their superior knowledge of both the local area and livestock and real estate I have no doubt they will be an asset to the group. I look forward to celebrating their success.”
