A revitalisation of Rose Bay is seeing the increasing development of quality boutique apartments catering for local demand.

Low-rise developments are the order of the area, in keeping with the surrounds and to maintain natural light and open space, according to Ray White Projects director, Eddie Mansour.

“It’s an increasingly popular, yet tightly held location. Rose Bay is mostly locals so it’s nice and quiet,” Mr Mansour said.

Catering for the increased demand, Ray White Projects have just begun marketing ‘Hampton’, a predominantly east-facing, boutique apartment building over three levels.

A range of two and three bedroom luxury apartments are being marketed off the plan, ranging from 70 square metres to 122 square metres. All apartments feature secure parking and prices range from $1.399 million to $2.799 million.

“It’s a premium development. Our top floor apartments face the harbour and have city views,” Mr Mansour said.

Positioned on the corner of Hamilton Street and Old South Head Road, Hampton features open plan designs and high end finishes, befitting its location.

“The apartments feature a very light and neutral colour scheme, designed to adapt to an array of different interior styles,” he said.

“To maximise natural light and the feeling of space, a stunning communal garden and atrium will also run through the middle of the building,” he added.

Hampton is being constructed by an Eastern Suburbs developer who uses local builders.

“The developer is well known locally. They’ve successfully been building in the area for a number of years,” Mr Mansour said, citing the recent completion of 22 Rockwell Crescent Potts Point as a particularly popular development.

“Ray White Projects have worked with them on several projects and residents are always happy with the finished product and their projects are well received.”

Most of the demand for boutique apartments like Hampton is coming from locals of all ages, according to Mr Mansour.

“They are attracted to the quality of the area and the convenient location. A ferry to the CBD is moments away. The bus stops at the door. You’re 10 minutes from Westfield Bondi Junction and there are a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby,” Mr Mansour said.

The Hampton Display Suite is located onsite at 34 Hamilton Street, Rose Bay and open 10am – 12pm Thursday, Saturday and Sunday each week.
