AS regional markets continue to grow, Ray White New South Wales have welcomed Mahan Shishineh to a newly-created position of General Manager Regional for the state.

Mr Shishineh joins Australasia’s leading agency after a successful career of almost a decade in the real estate industry and joined the team in early April. The real estate expert said he is excited to be a part of an incredible team of specialists at Ray White.“What attracted me to Ray White was the New South Wales | Australian Capital Territory CEO Andrew McCulloch’s clear vision for where we’re going, while maintaining a mission of providing support and adding real value to an already strong network,” Mr Shishineh said.“I look forward to meeting and working with each of the business owners across the network and helping them as much as I can.“My ambition is to grow the business, while putting the people at the forefront - having the right people, right facilities and the right team nurturing them.”Mr Shishineh added that he was drawn to the role of Ray White New South Wales General Manager Regional because the Ray White Group understands the needs of regional areas.“The level of care from Ray White is something that’s rare and well thought out,” he said.“Having spent the past seven years in another major franchise group that’s predominately regional based, I have come to understand the cultural difference between regional and metro markets.

“Their markets are very different and therefore these businesses need to be treated differently. Knowing this, I was able to grow the previous brand 120 per cent within the seven years, with the majority of the growth occurring in regional New South Wales.”

The new Ray White New South Wales General Manager Regional said he aims to help regional offices with a skill set he divides into three pillars

“Firstly, I want to assist our existing offices with internal growth, especially in the areas of recruitment, budget and market share growth,” Mr Shishineh said.

“Secondly, I plan to raise our standards with how we communicate with our offices and ensure that they feel confident that their General Manager is there to assist them.

“And thirdly, to grow our network with the right leaders and not to grow for growth sake.

“Regional areas will continue to grow due to the ripple effects of COVID-19. Our focus needs to be on delivering exceptional client experience to ensure that we seal the next generation of home owners and buyers in our regional areas.

“This shift is our opportunity to capture the next wave of loyal clients.”

Ray White New South Wales | Australian Capital Territory CEO Andrew McCulloch welcomed Mr Shishineh to the Group.“We now have a corporate team of 15 people in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory alone, whose focus is to add value and grow market share,” Mr McCulloch said.“With 215 offices spread right across New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory, it was important to me that we were still able to provide a high level of service to our network outside of Sydney.“Mahan’s role will be to focus on growing and servicing our regional network. With his extensive experience in both franchising and business ownership, I’m very confident in Mahan’s ability to make a positive impact on this part of the business.”
