McGrathNicol as Receiver and Managers Appointed over Mainland Property Group has retained Ray White Mission Beach and Tropical Property to commence marketing part of the Mainland Property Group’s Mission Beach property portfolio.

Ray White Mission Beach Principal Dick Williams and Tropical Property Director Susie England have been engaged to undertake a formal marketing campaign for a selection of the Mainland Property Group assets - with the first tranche announced today.

Running from Cairns to Cardwell, the Cassowary Coast is one of the undiscovered gems of Queensland, a quiet stretch of coastline bordered by the Wet Tropics Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

In the heart of the Cassowary Coast, you will find the four villages of Mission Beach, spread along a 14km stretch of palm-fringed sandy beaches, providing a wonderful opportunity to both owner-occupiers and investors to take full advantage of the sensational coastal lifestyle.

Mission Beach was the birthplace of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and is the closest access point to the reef, less than 40km offshore.

Despite its popularity, Mission Beach has retained a dreamy, laid-back vibe where the welcoming locals are never outnumbered by tourists.

There is a range of excellent accommodation options from luxury resorts, and upmarket holiday homes, to secluded rainforest retreats and superbly appointed B&Bs.

Whether it be romantic getaways, family holidays, wildlife sightings, backpackers, adventure travellers, campers, or caravaners, Mission Beach offers visitors a vast array of activities ranging from sedate to extreme sports such as tandem skydiving and white-water rafting for adrenaline junkies.

COVID-19 has seen a real focus placed on coastal areas in Queensland which offer an enviable lifestyle in a safe environment, two drawcards that will be incredibly appealing.

The property portfolio, split between free-standing residential dwellings and vacant land, will be released in staggered tranches and sold via expressions of interest campaigns.
