AT only 18 years old, North Lakes agent Ryan Suhle has become the youngest Ray White member in history to reach Elite status.
The ambitious young gun who originally planned on a career in engineering joined the family business a year ago and since then has achieved goals many agents only dream about.
“I came in to the office for three weeks, decided I was enjoying real estate and figured why not go down that route?” Mr Suhle said.
“Everyday is a bit different, you don’t wake up and do the exact same thing. There’s always a different appointment, new home and new people to meet compared to other roles where you do the same thing day in and day out.
“It’s exciting to always be meeting new people, especially in an area that I know so well. It all just clicked and I am loving it.”
Mr Suhle achieved Elite status on his commission sales and said since gaining his real estate licence after turning 18 years old this has been a major goal of his.
“Reaching Elite level means a lot. It was always my goal this year to meet this milestone and it seemed ambitious after only starting two months into the financial year but I had the goal set,” he said.
“But to be the youngest is pretty crazy to be honest.”
Real estate may be in his blood but Mr Suhle also said he has learned a lot in the field after his first year as a licensed real estate agent.
“I try to be the first in and the last to leave. In terms of fieldwork, it’s always been about being available and creating opportunities with basic things like box drops, calling and letters,” he said.
“The way to set yourself apart is to have a lot of energy, I think people respond to that really well.
“Securing listings can be tough but I have found servicing buyers is really important because a lot of sellers out there are buyers as well. So much of my business has come from working with buyers properly so when it came time for them to sell, I was their first port of call.” |
