Ray White Whitsunday has a new look and feel after a move to a brand new office in Reef Plaza, Principal Mark Beale's third office move since taking on the business in 2006.
“Our team keeps growing and growing, so we’ve continually had to upgrade. This office is the perfect location and size to allow us to continue to grow,” said Principal Mark Beale.
Described as the type of office you would more likely find in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the new look office is leading the Whitsundays property revival.
The new Cannonvale office will accommodate the ever growing team, which started at seven and now sits at 40.
Mark and wife Belinda purchased Ray White Whitsunday in 2006 and will next year celebrate the business’ 10 year anniversary in their successful hands.
According to Mark, the Ray White history from humble beginnings in the Sunshine State’s Crows Nest was a big reason as to why he made the decision to join the team.
“From the very beginning, it was always more than real estate to him (Ray White),” Mr Beale said.
A sentiment he still believes in today, with his own business.
“You just want to do your part for the community, professionally and personally, and hope you’ve made a difference.”
According to Mark, while the agency continues to go from strength to strength, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
After securing 330 rental properties from Raine and Horne – which instantly boosted the agency to five star status, they were a victim of the GFC.
“There was no choice but to come out on the other side.We had debt and staff to pay and a promise to the community. We had to change the way we did business and re-adjust projects.”
Mark believes that the market signs in the Whitsundays are about to have a major rebound with tourism numbers going through the roof and the possible approval of an international airport just around the corner.
