A powerhouse team of property development professionals have made a strategic real estate move into the booming eastern Sydney suburb of Mascot.
The team behind the brand new office come from a range of different backgrounds and industries, all having shared a common goal of opening a Ray White office in an up and coming area.
Yan Chen, Ray White Mascot Principal, has a wealth of experience in the real estate development industry and has worked in various operational management roles since moving to Australia in 2014.
“We see huge potential in Mascot and its surrounds,” Ms Chen said.
“We already have strong relationships around the area after working in property development here over the past four years”
The Mascot region has been dubbed an up and comer for Sydney, particularly in the development sector.
“There are already 2000 new apartments in the area, with 3000 more coming soon.”
The suburb was always a predominantly industrial area, but with the growing number of residents being drawn to its convenience, it is beginning to develop its own modern culture and charm.
The group knew from the start that the Ray White brand would be the best fit for their endeavours.
“The family culture, similar goals, the focus on future real estate landscape and the people within the Ray White business were the major draw cards for us.”
Alongside Ms Chen, experienced property manager Dawn Chan will be heading up the property management side of the business.
Tom Shang and Harold Wolf have also joined the team as sales managers, both with 30 years experience collectively selling in Sydney’s metropolitan area.
After only three weeks in business, the team has also built up their rent roll to over 30 different landlords, have leased 23 apartments, and have 3 apartments already on the market.
“We have so much confidence in the Mascot area and it’s opportunity. We are really looking forward to becoming the local experts in our community over the next 12 months and beyond,” Ms Chen said.
Ray White New South Wales Blue CEO, Jason Andrew, welcomed the Mascot team to the network.
“Yan and the team have such a strong background in property, and we can’t wait to see them conquer the Mascot area,” Mr Andrew said.
“We’re delighted to have another team joining the family and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow.”
