Ray White Tugun Principal John Tymon is proud to announce the addition and promotion of long time employee John Parkes as a joint Principal of the business.
John Parkes has been a member of the team at Ray White Tugun since 2010 when he first moved to the Gold Coast, two years after John Tymon bought the business and starting out as his personal assistant.
Since then, John Parkes was instrumental in John Tymon’s transition into a non-selling principal in 2012.
John Parkes is now one of Ray White’s elite performers, and within five years has made the transition to becoming a junior partner of Ray White Tugun property management at just 26 years of age.
According to John Tymon, the pair make a strong team, both bringing different strengths to the table, “John wanted a career in real estate. I wanted to make sure I created that pathway for him,” he said.
For Ray White Tugun, youth is the formula to success, “we have a young team, more than half of the team started their career in our office, and we have organically grown together. It’s been a success story for our business,” said John Tymon.
John Tymon’s vision is to see the future generation step up and propel the business forward, instrumental is the role of his daughter Courtney, who is the team’s strategic operations manager.
“These generational changes are vital,” said John Tymon, “My experience, coupled with John and Courtney’s youth and enthusiasm is our formula for growth and success.”
This formula has served them well, with success the byproduct of the environment John Tymon has worked hard to create.
“The environment at Ray White Tugun is the most positive I’ve experienced,” said John Parkes, “the trust and support built within the group has allowed people to work their best and everyone supports each other.”
Tony Warland, CEO of Ray White Queensland said youth and ambition are the key ingredients in driving the business forward.
“It’s extremely encouraging to see young people like John rise through the ranks to where he is now, and we look forward to seeing his success in the future,” said Tony.
For both men, the top is where they want to be. “We want to become the number one Ray White business on the Southern end of the Gold Coast, and our ambition is to also become the best real estate office on the Gold Coast,” said John Parkes, adding that his mentor has been a great leader and has valued all the lessons he has learnt so far in his time at Ray White Tugun with John.
