MORE than 550 real estate agents and guests attended the 2018 reiwa.com awards ball at Crown Perth this weekend where Ray White was named as the Top Franchise and/or Network for both listings and value sold in 2017-18.
Ray White Western Australia CEO Mark Whiteman said it was a great honour to be named as the top group in all of the west for the second year in a row.
“We are incredibly proud of the network of offices and individuals that make up the Ray White family here in Western Australia.” Mr Whiteman said.
“Ray White is a family owned franchise group, made up of hundreds of different family owned businesses and this is great recognition for their collective efforts. This is our member’s award.
“We often say that if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go further, go together.”
“At Ray White we share a common bond of being part of something that started 116 years ago in the humblest beginnings in regional Australia.”
REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi said the reiwa.com awards recognise WA’s top selling agents and agencies across all brands and independents.
“Western Australia has some of the best and brightest real estate professionals in the country and the reiwa.com Awards celebrate the state’s highest achievers,” Mr Pozzi said.
While acknowledging the outstanding achievements of his members, Mr Whiteman was quick to warn of complacency.
“Our people have excelled and we have some wonderful new additions to the group whose results will be recorded under the Ray White Group for the first time in 2018-19, so the year ahead looks even brighter,” Mr Whiteman said.
“However if we rest on our laurels we will risk losing this momentum”.
“We must remain the hunter not the hunted, our potential is still a long way off,” he said.
