Ray White takes top award at REB for fourth year in a row

It's the fourth year in a row that Ray White Group has taken home the prestigious REB Major Network of the Year - 40 or more offices award.

RAY WHITE GROUP, Australasia’s largest real estate brand, has taken out the top industry accolade for Major Network of the Year at the 2019 Real Estate Business (REB) Awards for the fourth year in a row.

The award cements the leading group’s success across a market correction in the last 12 months that has seen an increase in the family-owned business’s market share.

The Real Estate Business Awards, that have now been running for seven years, are the industry’s premier awards open to every professional and real estate group and recognise the best operators across a range of categories.

The highest accolade of the awards is the Major Network of the Year.

Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said he was humbled to win the award for the fourth year in succession and praised the hard work of Ray White members.

“This award is a reflection of every single Ray White member and their relentless commitment to improving the experience they provide our customers,” Mr White said.

“Without their energy, ambition and determination to go above and beyond, this award simply wouldn’t have been possible.

“We’ve ignored all the headlines telling us that it was going to be a bad year and we’ve been able to increase our market share to the highest level it’s ever been.

“It would have been easy to lose our cool when our customers needed us the most, so we’re particularly proud of the hard work, effort and decision making of the network in 2019.

“I’d also like to thank the corporate teams across the country who ensure we’re always seeking to improve our customer experience with the best and newest forms of technology, digital, sales and marketing to support our network.”

Ray White Head of Growth Mark McLeod, who accepted the award on behalf of the White family who were attending the Ray White NSW awards, said the prize belonged to the more than 12,000 members that worked incredibly hard every day.

“I’d also like to accept this on behalf of all our business leaders across our great country and the clients we continue to serve every single day,” Mr McLeod said.

“On behalf of the White family, I know they’ll be thrilled to win this award again, and I’d like to thank everyone for the nominations and I’d also like to offer special thanks to REB.”

Also a huge congratulations to Ray White Double Bay for being awarded Sales Office of the Year – Metropolitan.

“For over 30 years, this business has set the highest standards of performance and service, and following the transition of ownership to Elliott Placks, its best days are still well ahead of it,” Mr White said.

And congratulations to Ray White Mildura Director and Sales Agent Damian Portaro who took home the award for Sales Agent of the Year – Regional.

“It’s fantastic to see that Australia’s best-kept secret in the Victorian regional centre of Mildura has been recognised for the great work they do in servicing a diverse client profile,” Mr Mcleod said.

Momentum Media Deputy Head of Editorial Emma Ryan said interest in this year's REB Awards had been second to none.
