The team behind one of the greatest success stories in the family company’s history, Ray White Norwood, is expanding into their second location in the coastal suburb of Grange.
When Jason Spagnuolo and Sam Brincat started on their Ray White journey as a small team working within the Adelaide corporate office, it is hard to imagine in only four short years, they would be running a team of 70 and expanding into their second office location.
Having recently won the 2020-21 Top Office for Ray White South Australia along with a host of other awards, the award-winning team are certainly making an impact.
“We are incredibly proud of the impact that our team has made on the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, and we are excited to remodel the same formula into the western coastal suburbs,” Mr Spagnuolo said.
The merging of Ray White Grange and Ray White Norwood is a particularly special one, with Ray White Grange having been the very first Ray White franchise to open in South Australia over 30 years ago.
“John and Paula Berno were literally the first franchisees of Ray White in Adelaide, so we are excited to learn from each other and be part of that history,” Mr Brincat said.
Chief Operations Officer Ryan Evans, who has been at the helm of the rapid expansion of Ray White Norwood since day one, said the existing Grange team of 12 were excited to merge into the newly formed partnership.
“We have all built wonderful working relationships with the Grange team, who are looking forward to becoming part of our rapidly evolving group,” Mr Evans said.
Grange makes up one of the sought-after western coastal suburbs of Adelaide, enjoying many beachfront homes as well as more affordable options.
“Families are really attracted to this area, and it provides a little more privacy and a relaxed atmosphere than some of the busier Adelaide beaches,” Mr Evans said.
Mr Brincat said that the last 10 years has seen a lot of growth, with a cafe culture emerging as well as some boutique residential developments.
“Everyone wants to be close to the beach, and Grange really offers that lifestyle while still only being 15 minutes from the CBD,” he said.
Mr Brincat and Mr Spagnuolo said that their aim over the next 12 months was to implement their winning processes into the Grange office, and support their new agents, property managers and operations staff as best they can.
“We are thrilled to be working with a group of fantastic operators who know this region inside out, and we know that the commitment from the whole team will be our key to success,” Mr Spagnuolo said.
“We want to provide opportunities for both new recruits and customers, and really link the east to the west in our city,” he said.
Ray White South Australia CEO Matt Lindblom congratulated the Ray White Norwood and Ray White Grange teams on the expansion.
“Jason and Sam’s relentless commitment to growth and service is what sets them apart from their competition and has contributed to their outstanding success over the past few years,” Mr Lindblom said.
“We firmly see ourselves as partners with our franchisees, and this collaborative approach is very attractive to the current generation of business owners and leaders,”
“John and Paula Berno have always been, and will always be, an integral part of our group and we can’t wait to see them thrive within their new team,” he finished.
