Ray White opened an office in Rouse Hill in recent months with well-known local Jeff Dagg.

Jeff is best known for his long time retail automotive businesses, his involvement in the local Freemasons and school P and Cs, and having lived locally since his was 16 years old. In fact, he has raised a family in Kellyville in more recent times.

But now he’s taking his passion for the area and lifestyle and bringing it to property sales.

“More than 80 per cent of homes here are owner-occupied. People love living in and around Rouse Hill and its one of those places where you really set yourself up to live for the long term,” Mr Dagg explained.

Jeff says the strongest local age demographic is under 14 years and the next strongest group is the 34 - 44 year olds. The median local household income bracket is $130,000 - $180,000.

“It’s a reasonably wealthy area, lots of families and business people.”

“While there’s a growing population, most people are looking to buy for the long haul. The rental side is still smaller than many markets near a large city as there is not a lot of high density.”

The area comprises of a mix of rural and residential property.

"The market is reasonably buoyant. There were 140 homes sold last year and there are obvious growth opportunities with the extension of northwest rail. Rouse Hill town centre is a vibrant area servicing the community.”

“We’re part of the highly sought after Hills district. There's an attraction to that in itself. It’s a great community to live in: not quite a country town but people are friendly and it doesn't have a big city feel, yet we’re so close to city.”

“Only two mins from our office you can see Hereford cattle and Alpacas on the hills. For somebody from the bush, it's pretty fantastic."

Jeff’s business ambitions are simple and clear.

"[I want to] serve the community well through honesty and integrity. I love people. The car industry is no longer a people business it's an internet business. Real estate is a still people business.”

Jeff has bought and sold properties for years and is pleased to be taking 30 years of customer service and business management into a new field.
