More than 1200 real estate agents and guests attended the prestigious Ray White Queensland annual awards last night at the Royal International Convention Centre to celebrate the achievements of the top offices and individuals throughout the network.

Ray White Queensland has a lot to celebrate considering it traded more than $8 billion in residential property sales, made up of over 14,000 transactions in 2018-19.

The sunshine state network listed over 20,000 properties in the same period, which is more than its two closest competitors combined. Today, Ray White Queensland manages over 49,000 properties for their landlords.

The cornerstone of business has always been the relentless focus on auctions and marketing property.

Ray White Queensland conducted 33 per cent (up from 31 per cent the year before) of all the auctions held in Queensland - but a highlight was conducting over 64 per cent of all auctions in the Brisbane city area.

On their night of celebration, Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland (pictured above) thanked every one of the 4200 people who make up the leading network in the state.

“To administrators, property managers, PAs and assistants, salespeople, managers and business owners for all of the hard work that you do and the support that you give each other and of course the brand. And tonight, I especially want to thank our business owners.” And that’s what he proceeded to do. All 95 of them.

In 2018-2019 Ray White Queensland had 143 members qualify in the Premier status and 45 members qualify for the Alan White Elite. In the category of the Chairman’s Elite - those who write in excess of $1.25 million in fees and/or 120 sales, the Queensland network had six members achieve this level.

The White Family presented Sonya Treloar (Ray White Bridgeman Downs | Albany Creek), Matt Lancashire (Ray White New Farm), Sam Guo (Ray White Broadbeach), Matt Gates (Ray White Sanctuary Cove), Troy Dowker (Ray White Mermaid Beach), Dwight Ferguson (Ray White Ascot) with their awards and congratulated them on achieving this esteemed level.

One of the most exciting awards of the night was presented to Sam Guo of Ray White Broadbeach (pictured above with his team) for being the number one sales performer for Ray White Queensland for an incredible fives years in a row.

The hard-working Sam Guo was also named as the Top 5 International sales performer too.

"I am so thrilled by what we have accomplished over the past five years, and being the top agent for five years in a row takes is a lot of commitment and hard work but the recognition and messages from the CEO and the family have made this so worthwhile. I’m so humbled and pumped at the same time," Mr Guo said.

"I wouldn’t and couldn’t be here without all the support and trust from our A team, office and Ray White corporate and more importantly —our valued clients.

"What an honour to be the first person to win this award this five times in a row."

His secret?

Sam Guo is totally passionate about his work and will try everything to find the best deal for his clients.

"I don't stop. I am committed and focused as the minute you lose concentration, then straight away you lose focus. I am surrounded with many excellent people and our working environment is like family. That's the only way you will make it to the level."

The dominant powerhouse Ray White Surfers Paradise Group was once again awarded the number one office in Queensland for settled commission and total number of sales for the incredible 27th year in a row.

A dominant force in the industry, Ray White Surfers Paradise continues to go from strength to strength as its focuses on separating itself from ordinary practices within the industry by providing the leading marketing avenues for their clients to generate the maximum number of buyers and the methods necessary to extract the highest possible sales price.

Ray White Surfers Paradise CEO Andrew Bell said he was delighted to receive the accolades after a challenging year with significant issues for everyone in the property industry.

“The industry is going through a significant transformation and I am thrilled that Ray White is at the forefront of that industry transformation and I look forward to continually providing the very best results for our clients moving forward,” Mr Bell said.

“Our market share has continued to grow year on year and we are blessed to have attracted the very best salespeople in the industry. We are excited about the year ahead.

“We are thrilled to see improvement in all areas and the real estate market getting back to some normality.”

Ray White Surfers Paradise was recognised not only for their residential arm but also in the commercial space where they were named the No.1 Leasing Office, No 2 International Sales Office, and a host of other awards too last week too at the Ray White Commercial Awards.

“To be recognised both residentially and commercially as the No. 1 Property Management Offices in revenues and Ray White Surfers Paradise and hold the mantle as the leading auction company internationally for both the residential and commercial operations is just terrific.”

Ray White Ascot principal Dwight Ferguson (pictured above) won the top principal in terms of residential sales award for 2018-19, while Sonya Treloar of Ray White Bridgeman Downs | Albany Creek won the top salesperson award for total number of sales.

The Ray White New Farm team took home the Profile of Courage for their consistent efforts helping their community, while Mark Beale, principal of Ray White Whitsunday won the Profile of Courage for his Leadership.

Larry Malan of Ray White Broadbeach | Mermaid Beach took home Profile of Courage for Revolution and Innovation. Neil Mundy of Ray White Ipswich took home the gong for Service Excellence.

Christine Rudolph of Ray White New Farm won the Excellence in Marketing - Property Profile award, while Jackson Paradise was awarded for his Excellence in Marketing Personal Profile.

Once again the Ray White Surfers Paradise team was named as the Property Management Team of the Year, Ray White Sherwood | Graceville was named for its Excellence in Auction, while Janelle Tanielu of Ray White Bracken Ridge won Administrator of the Year.

And it’s with great pride that Haesley Cush (pictured here with Dan White, Paul White, Brian White and Tony Warland), principal of Ray White New Farm was named the prestigious Max White Award winner for 2019.

For the past 39 years the Max White prize has been awarded to a member of the Ray White Group in Queensland.

What makes a Max White prize winner? It’s when extraordinary people just keep doing extraordinary things.

Mr Warland said Haesley Cush was a son of the company and revered as a true leader.

“Of course he started with us when his mother originally owned a Ray White office. His compassion and empathy extends beyond the company's needs as he is always available to assist in charitable events and has the most beautiful life with his wife Aleesha and three young children,” Mr Warland said.

“For me personally, we all have mates, but we have a less number when it comes to friends and for me Haesley is definitely a friend and his support has been unwavering for many years.”

Congratulations to all our Ray White winners in Queensland!
